Path to Better Project Budget Management
AIA Cleveland will be hosting a CEU focused on supporting Architectural Firms and teams on continued training and development of project budget controls and budget management.
In this CEU we will discuss key financial reports, indicators, and tools that will lead to better data for teams to have better insight and control of budget management, leading to healthier business for Architectural Firms.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
Be able to identify the basic components of project-based accounting and budget management through exploring an example project and run through key financial metrics and why they matter to the business.
Develop familiarity of Business Finance/Accounting reporting related to Architectural Firms by examining examples and be capable of distinguishing between the reports and what information is critical for all to make better informed business decisions.
Be able to evaluate opportunities for changes in internal business process by discovering a new perspective of roles & responsibilities in project budget management/project-based accounting and be better prepared to implement new strategies.
Be more prepared to justify necessary tools, software, and investments to see project-based data and financials more easily using information derived to describe the necessity of real time data and importance of that insight to the overall health of the business.
